The easy120 35mm Holder comes in two variants:

The easy120 35mm Standard Holder is designed for scanning standard 35mm (135) film up to full-frame size. It is tightly built to mask out the sprockets, ensuring maximum image quality. Depending on your camera’s frame size, which may vary by 1-2mm, you may or may not see a black border around the frame.

The easy120 35mm Panoramic Sprocket Holder is perfect for scanning panoramic frames up to 90mm in length on 35mm (135) film. It features visible sprockets, allowing it to also scan regular 35mm frames with visible sprockets.

Compatibility and Lock Mechanism

This holder fits seamlessly into the easy120 system, just like any other compatible holder. The new holder lock mechanism makes it easy to replace the holder with minimal effort.

How It Works

The VALOI easy120 holders pass the film through a thin slit that runs through the entire holder. This allows you to easily push or pull the film through, saving time and effort compared to traditional clam-shell holders.

All VALOI holders use a double-S curve design, where the slit curves before and after the scanning gate. This slight bending of the film on both sides improves flatness beyond what a straight slit could achieve.

Holder Lock Mechanism

The easy120 units metal housing has a spring-loaded ball bearing system to securely hold the Film Holder in place. Simply push the holder in until it clicks. This lock mechanism keeps the holder secure while allowing for easy removal, ensuring quick and precise operation without tools for a smooth user experience.

Compatibility

The easy120 35mm Holder is compatible with all easy120 units. However, it is not compatible with the VALOI 360 system.
