NanLite Forza 500 Monolight with Bowens Mount

For brightness that has to be seen to be believed, the NanLite Forza 500 offers truly incredible power for its size. The single 500W COB LED bulb produces up to 66300 Lux using the included reflector and has accurate daylight fixed colour temperature of 5600K (TLCI 95, CRI 95). The light beam can be intensified even further using the optional Fresnel lens attachment (not included). This light weighs just 2.6kg and measures 309mm on its longest side, with a body constructed of durable carbon fibre.

The Forza 500 produces soft light that is flattering for studio shoots, and bright enough for both photography and video. For film-makers, this light also features a number of special effects, including lightning storm, camera flash, TV and faulty bulb. The ultra-quiet fan makes this light ideal for even the most sound-sensitive situations.

The integrated S-mount is compatible with Bowens equipment, making it easy to add all kinds of light-shaping equipment to enhance your lighting effects.

Use in the studio with the included power adapter, or out on location using two V-lock batteries (not included). Continuous dimming from 0-100% makes it easy to add this light to any scene without needing ND filters or additional diffusion.

The control panel, AC adapter and battery plate have been combined into a single separate unit, tethered to the main light by a cable, allowing the controls to remain accessible when the light is mounted on the ceiling or in a tight space. The brightness can also be controlled by DMX, or using the 2.4G radio controller (available separately) or smartphone app (Wi-Fi control box required).

This ultra-portable light comes in a high-quality protective carry bag, and features a 330-degree rotating handle, making it easy to adjust to the correct angle or hang from a ceiling for studio use. It can also be mounted on any standard light stand.

Ultra Bright Output

With the included reflector, the Forza 500 emits an impressive 93350 Lux at 1 meter. When equipped with the optional fresnel the light output climbs to a staggering 210000+ Lux at 1 meter. Plus with dimming from 100% down to 1% you can quickly adapt the Forza 500 to any scene.

Lightweight Compact Design

Created to eliminate the difficulties of traveling with large light fixtures the Forza 500 weighs only 13.23 lbs (5.95 lbs of the head, 7.28 lbs of the controller) and is compact enough to be easily packed into most gear cases.

Colour Perfection

The brightness of a light is important, but without caccuracy, a ton of time and money will be lost in post-production. The Forza 500 features a CRI of 98 and a TLCI of 95 meaning you can shoot with confidence knowing the creproduction will be precise.

Bowens Style Light Modifier Mount

By utilizing the near-universal Bowens style light modifier mount, the Forza 500 is compatible with a massive selection of light modifiers. Including, but not limited to Nanlite’s line of fresnel, softboxes and umbrellas.

Practical Effects

With pre-programmed special effects in a simple-to-master menu system, the Forza 500 makes it easy to imitate lighting scenarios that can otherwise be tricky to recreate. At the touch of a button, you can simulate the lighting effects of lightning, a TV screen, a flash, and a malfunctioning light bulb (or Bad Bulb)

Satellite Control and Power Station

To keep a low centre of gravity and the controls easily accessible the Forza 500’s control panel, AC adapter, and battery plate have been combined into one satellite unit easily hung from any light stand. The satellite also serves as the DMX connection point enabling the Forza 500 to be quickly added to any DMX-controlled environment.

Power Anywhere

Perfect for use in the studio or on location, the Forza 500 can run off either the included AC adapter or 2x 26V V-Mount batteries (Not Included) so you can operate in any location regardless of power availability.

Studio and Location Ready

Supplied with a standard 5/8″ receiver mount, the Forza 500 can be attached directly on any standard light stand, and the 360-degree rotating yolk makes it easy to adjust any angle or hang the light from a ceiling for studio use. Also thanks to the Forza 500’s active, silent fan it is at home in even the most sound-sensitive situations.
