The MH496-BH Centre Ball Headis a portable yet powerful compact ball head that enables fast and precise camera positioning, with flawless smoothness. This premium compact tripod head is made of highly-resistant, lightweight aluminium, so it is both extremely portable and strong enough to cope with a payload up to 10kg. It’s the perfect solution for all kinds of mirrorless cameras with zoom lenses and even medium-format DSLRs. Combining practicality with high functionality, the 496 features three independent controls: a main knob for managing the sphere lock, an integrated friction control knob that adjusts the ball tension so that equipment weight is always perfectly balanced, and an independent panoramic knob that keeps the horizon flat and moves the camera horizontally, enabling astonishing landscape shots. The 496 mounts a unique plate (200PL PRO) that makes it fully compatible with the worlds most widespread standard head attachments: Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-swiss style.
