Ilford Rapid Fixer 5L is a non-hardening rapid fixer. Ideal for both film and paper. This is a liquid concentrate that is diluted with water for use. Willwork well in the temperature range of 18-40C (66-104F) to fix black and white film and paper in all manual and machine processing applications.
The fixing agent in Rapid Fixer is ammonium thiosulphate, it contains no sodium thiosulphate (hypo).Fixer is one of the four chemicals you need to develop film. Alongside developer, stop and wetting agent.
