Ilford Bromophen is a powdered, warm tone paper developer. It will give you slightly warm tomes on neutral papers, and enhance the tone on Ilford Multigrade Warmtone papers.Ilford Bromophen is a phenidone/hydroquinone developer. Suitable for tray developing all resin coated and fibre-based black-and-white photographic papers.

Bromophen is economical, clean working and has an excellent shelf life.Not recommended for use at high temperatures or machine developers. It is also not suitable for developing films.Ilford Bromophen packs contain two parts, A and B. Always make up the developer stock solution to the volume stated on the pack. Do not attempt to prepare smaller quantities by using fractional parts of each powder.
