The PocketWizard CM-E3-ADD-1 is a special remote shutter release cable called a pre-trigger cable. A pre-trigger cable controls both the half-press and full-press function of your remote cameras shutter release. When a camera is pre-triggered, it is like holding your cameras shutter release button in the half-pressed or metering/focusing position. This ACC cable allows a compatible PocketWizard radio to independently control both half-press and full-press functions.

This cable now includes a MSMM Adapter (stereo to mono miniphone), which converts a MCDC2-ACC cable to a standard N-MCDC2 miniphone cable.

A standard cable (CM-E3) works with most PocketWizard radios but has no half-press control and is for basic remote triggering only. Using a CM-E3-ACC cable with a PTMM Adapter will allow the camera to remain awake.

Compatible with cameras using Canon’s E3 remote terminal or sub-miniphone connector including:

Canon EOS SL1, EOS 60D, EOS 70D, EOS 80D, EOS 77D, Rebel series, Digital Rebel series, EOS Rebel series, EOS 300D, EOS 350D, EOS 400D, EOS 450D, EOS 500D, EOS 550D, EOS 600D, EOS 650D, EOS 700D, EOS 1000D, EOS 1100D, EOS 1200D, and other Canon cameras with N3 remote shutter release terminal.
