The Rani Folding Beauty Dish from Phottix is a round 33″ folding beauty dish with a “Push and Pull” assembly system that features 16 fiberglass ribs that click and lock into place quickly and easily. The silver interior maximizes light source’s output, which can be fine-tuned using the included honeycomb grid, center reflector disc, front diffuser fabric, and inner baffle fabric. These components may be used individually or in combinations to create looks from punchy contrast to supple diffusion. The included grid may be used to narrow light output for more directional control and to prevent undesired light spill. Strong, durable, and lightweight, the Rani Folding Beauty Dish produces soft, wraparound light with natural catchlights in the subject’s eyes and is suitable for portrait and fashion photography.
