ESM self-regulating multi-speed motor

ESM motor which fits onto all H-16 RX-4/5, M-4/5, S-4, SB, SBM and H8 RX-4 equipped with the 1:1 spindle is designed for filming with synchronous sound recording. This electronically regulated auxiliary motor drives the film at the perfectly stabilized speeds of 10, 18, 24, 25 and 50 f.p.s. and is used with the same crystal control unit and sync pulse equipment as the H16 EBM electric and H16 EL cameras.

It is provided with an automatic clapper device that fogs a few frames at the beginning of each take. Can be switched off.

• Powered by 12 V / 1,2 Ah cylinder NiCad battery housed in 261.001 power grip or in the 261.220 container with 265.010 power and remote control cable, or by the 261.660 12 V / 1.2 Ah power pack NiCad battery.

*The motor has a built-in generator supplying a pilot signal of 1000 cycles at 25 f.p.s.; the standardized frenquencies of 50 cycles at 25 f.p.s. and 60 cycles at 24 f.p.s. are obtained by means of two separate accessories supplied with clapper lamp, a clapper lamp mount, a 1 m (39 in.) universal cable and a cable for connecting up to the tape-recorder.
